Dr. Antonio Almaguer was born and raised in Cuba, where he developed a deep passion for healthcare and helping others. He graduated from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, in 2008, earning his dental degree and beginning a career dedicated to improving patients’ oral health and well-being. Soon after graduation, he began advanced training in Orthodontics — a foundation that later helped him excel in his studies in the United States, particularly in smile design and orthodontic treatment.
Committed to continuous growth and excellence, Dr. Almaguer continued his professional training in the United States and successfully completed the General Practice Residency (GPR) Program at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital in 2022. During this time, he enhanced his surgical skills by working closely with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, expanding his clinical expertise in comprehensive, multidisciplinary dental care.
Dr. Almaguer believes that dentistry is about more than treating teeth — it is about restoring confidence, improving quality of life, and helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. He combines clinical experience, advanced technology, and a personalized approach to create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Almaguer enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places. He values a balanced lifestyle and believes personal well-being plays an important role in providing the best care to his patients.
